Our design process for logo indentity is highly consultative. Because your logo is a very impactful element of your entire brand strategy, it is imperative that communication is open, insightful and professionally advised throughout the whole process.
We break our process down into 4 stages.
1. Initial Consultation
This is where we learn about your audience (customers, clients, retailers, etc.), how they see your company and it's product or services. We delve into your mission and values as a company and how that is reflected in your business activities.
We deal with the logistics in this meeting; the context in which the logo will appear (wine bottles, case boxes, apparel) and the aspect ratio needed (horizontal or square, or both). We also discuss possible imagery for the logo.
This is where we present possible solutions. We offer between 2 - 4 seperate black and white interpertations of design choices. This is where we get to understand how our clients are connecting to the imagery and how they imagine their clients will as well.
During this meeting we narrow down the elements that the client prefers the most and sometimes merge those elements into one design. Or we go with one prefered design and make adjustments based on the client recommendations.
At this point our designer has narrowed down the logo into one concept and is presenting to the client between 2 - 4 interpretations of the one concept that was identified in the last meeting.
During this session we also discuss color limitations and opportunities, as well as certain feelings that colors evoke.
4. Color Logo
This is our last session with the client. We share with the client the final version of the logo design and present 3 possible color options.
After this final consultation our logo files are delivered along with brand identity guidelines for our client's future use.
