Our app will help you get more online reviews from your winery visitors with our simple application that they can access from their mobile phones or iTouch or iPad devices that you provide in your tasting room.
The winery simply needs to incentivize them to review your wine. We suggests offering a free tasting of your reserve wine in a exchange for a review. With our app they spend a few minutes rating their experience on a 1 - 5 star basis and a short paragraph or two as well. Once they hit "rate us" the get presented with the coupon for a free reserve wine taste.
But how do we make sure that only the positive reviews get posted on Yelp, Yellow Pages and Google Local? Easy. If they rate your winery a 4 or 5 star we send them a follow-up email asking them to repost their review on Yelp, Yellow Pages and Google Local and offer them an additional incentive. We suggest that your winery offer them a chance to wine free tickets to your next wine event. You can also offer them a discount on a wine purchase, but we recommend not devalueing your wine with discounts. Offering a "club price" incentive on a wine purchase would be a good way to position a discount offer, without creating the perception that the wine has less value (and also promote your wine club benefits).

If you have 10 reviews or more, you get a score from 0 - 30. If your score is higher than your neighbors - than people will chose your tasting room over another.
Yelp has become the most popular platform for getting recommendations on local businesses. In the "old" days we would just ask friends and neighbors about the best dry cleaner or Vietnamese restaurant. While word of mouth marketing is still the most common form of marketing, Yelp has really helped put word of mouth marketing online. So now we may not know the person recommending or not recommending the best restaurant in town, but we do trust the source and often act on the recommendation.
